Raven Rock State Park is hiring a Park Technician. This position is an integral member of our seasonal staff, working with the maintenance, ranger, office, and seasonal staff. Park Technician will be responsible for cleaning of park facilities; landscaping; trail maintenance; leading volunteers on projects; and assisting ranger and maintenance staff with natural resource management, park operations, and facilities maintenance. Experience with hand tools, and grounds keeping equipment is preferred, but not required. Applicant should be self-motivated, prepared to work outside in all kinds of weather, and be in good physical condition to work on trails in the park. Park uniform is required. Employee will have the opportunity to assist with interpretive programs and provide excellent customer service to visitors. This position is full-time (40 hours/week) for a term of 11 months, subject to reinstatement. Some weekend, evening, and holiday work will be required. The pay will be $9.00 per hour. A valid Driver’s License is required. Interested applicants, 18 years or older, can fill out a PD-107 form online or at the park Visitor Center. The anticipated start date for this position will be May 1, 2018.

Raven Rock State Park is hiring a General Utility Worker. This position serves an important role in maintaining the daily operations of the park. Primary responsibilities will be cleaning of park facilities; routine landscaping; trail maintenance; and working with ranger and maintenance staff on projects, operations, and facilities maintenance. Experience with hand tools, and grounds keeping equipment is preferred, but not required. Applicant should be self-motivated, prepared to work outside in all kinds of weather, and be in good physical condition to work on trails in the park. Park uniform is required. This position is full-time (40 hours/week) for a term of 6 months, subject to reinstatement. Some weekend, evening, and holiday work will be required. The pay will be $8.00 per hour. A valid Driver’s License is required. Interested applicants, 18 years or older, can fill out a PD-107 form online or at the park Visitor Center. The anticipated start date for this position will be May 1, 2018.
