Newspaper Feature Article

On September 3, 2014 the Daily Record newspaper out of Dunn, NC put FRARO on the map with a front page featured article.

Several weeks earlier, FRARO Chair, Karen Kratz had been interviewed by writer, Tom Woerner after he’d contacted her for information about the organization.

“While Mr. Woerner wrote a lovely article about Friends of Raven Rock State Park, he did get the timelines on a few of our projects wrong. We are working on bench donations and a new fire pit behind the Visitor Center, but those projects are yet to be completed. I hope that the Daily Record will be able to report on the installment of these projects once they are completed.” said Mrs. Kratz.

However – we do still have openings for the Trail Building Workshop to be held on Saturday, September 27th. Please do call the Park to find out more about it and to register.
